Location:
I have local clients from Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco, Contra Costa County, Marin County, Sonoma County and Silicon Valley. While I prefer an initial in-person meeting, I can work at a distance via telephone and email. I have telephone clients in New York, Phoenix, Detroit, Chicago, Greenwich, Denver, Kansas City and Boston.
Initial Contact:
In addition to an initial telephone consultation, I offer a free 45-minute, face-to-face meeting in my office to talk in more depth about your situation and my approach. If that is not possible due to distance, I offer this meeting on the telephone.
Description of the Work:
Sessions are 1.5 hrs. in length, and a minimum of six sessions is recommended. The work may include any and all of the following: learning and practicing relaxation and centering techniques, homework to get you started, homework to get you moving, resume review, revision and preparation, support for the job search, interview preparation, a basic business plan (if starting a business is the result of the work), support during start-up and development.
Scope of the Work:
I usually develop long-term relationships with my clients who, after launching, return in times of decision-making, stress, difficulties with co-workers or superiors, career development, or change. One client, a new business owner, introduced me at her wedding as “the person I can’t do life without.”
